Over the last two years we’ve run two incredibly successful campaigns to support projects in Jacmel, Haiti. This year, we’ll be heading back to Haiti to complete our work. We hope you can join us!
After the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti in January 2010, Random Acts provided major funding for a volunteer trip in late 2010 to Jacmel, where our team helped to rebuild homes, communities, and provided tools and transportation funds to a new carpentry school to give young Haitians the skills necessary to help their country recover. We helped refurbish an orphanage, and founded a carpentry school to give people the skills necessary to help Haiti recover. On top of that, we also began construction on a dental clinic.
Misha Collins and the Random Acts team went to Jacmel in 2011 as part of our first major Hope 2 Haiti campaign. With the help of 22 enthusiastic volunteers, who each raised $5,000 to secure their spot on the team, site clearance and construction work began on the Jacmel Children’s Center.
In June 2012, Random Acts returned to Jacmel for Hope 2 Haiti 2. With another 23 fantastic fundraising volunteers, Misha Collins, and Eureka’s Colin Ferguson, we helped out at the ever-progressing Jacmel Children’s Center, as well as the Art Creation Foundation For Children and two other orphanages.
With the help of our generous supporters, Random Acts has raised almost $400,000 that will directly benefit struggling communities in Haiti.
It’s a lot of money, but we aren’t finished yet.

Random Acts will be going back to Haiti this June 21-29 to put the finishing touches to the Jacmel Children’s Center. We’d love for you to join us.
