IT Manager
Meg is responsible for ensuring the proper selection, implementation and effective use of all technology platforms involved in Random Acts’ operations.
Meg is a senior working towards her BS in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Web Development, and has the goal of being Tony Stark someday. Previously, she studied English Literature, Anthropology, and History before realizing she is not an academic and changing her degree to something she could use. Meg has worked in a plethora of industries, with experience in medical to hospitality to photography and everything in between. She has opened two restaurants, overseeing the hiring and training of a few dozen employees, as well as assisting a hospital in their transition from a paper system to electronic filing. Her favorite job to date was for a web development company, where she worked as an Executive Project Manager and handled upwards of 15 client accounts at a time. Meg’s previous volunteer work includes Big Brother Big Sister, organizing barricades with the Patriot Guard Riders, working at her local soup kitchen, and preservation work with national parks. When she has downtime, Meg can be found lurking on Tumblr, posting pictures of her cat to Twitter, reading physics texts, and cooking without recipes.
